The Problem:

Dehydration is a lack of water in and on the body’s skin. It can exacerbate conditions in both types of skin. Dry skin becomes flaky and cracked. Oily skin becomes even oilier. You cannot drink enough water to hydrate your skin in hot weather, nor can you expect all topical treatments to be absorbed by the skin.

The Solution:

To properly hydrate the skin takes special skills…the types of skills we practice. The secret to hydration is the ability, or process, of penetrating the skin with a treatment product. The size of the product’s molecules is important because if they are too big, the product will simply sit on top of your skin. We use products with smaller molecules, or break down large ones, so they can penetrate and be absorbed by the skin.
